Hermann Weyl (1885-1855) was a noted German mathematician and a key member of the Institute for Advanced Study. The current volume is a revised and augmented translation of Professor Weyl's "Philosophie der Mathematik und Naturwussenschaft" first published in 1927. There are six new appendicies by Dr. Weyl which brought the work up to date.
