William Holder (1616-1698) was a clergyman, philosopher and one of the founders of the Royal Society. He is best known for his work teaching the deaf. The current experiment directly relates to those efforts. He is the Author of Garrison-Morton 3349 "Elements of Speech" which contains an appendix concerning persons who are deaf and mute. Price:
