SIGNED AND INSCRIBED "ALOHA" BY MILDRED NORDMAN without personalization on the flap of the portfolio. Fifteen black and white photographic plates depicting Hawaiian flowers with printed descriptions on the verso of the plates. Complete as issued. The plates each are 19.5" by 15.5" with images varying from 9.5" by 13" to 13.5" by 10". The plates are Near Fine to Fine with foxing in the margins of one plate. Included is a two page biography of the photographer. The plates are in the original cloth over boards printed portfolio which has been rebacked. The portfolio is soiled, mildly foxed and has mild wear but is intact and has protected the plates well. A Rare Hawaiian portfolio with OCLC listing only two copies (Seattle Pub. Lib, U. of Hawaii).
