Library stamps edges. Library bookplate front paste-down. No other library markings. With an appointment slip for Dr. Tay's clinic for "really indigent" patients laid-in. 8vo.

Waren Tay (1843-1927) was the first to describe amaurotic familial idiocy. His paper dealt primarily with the ocular manifestations. The condition later became known as Tay-Sachs disease after Bernard Sachs (1858-1944) description of the cerebral changes in 1887. See Garrison-Morton 4705.
